Sarah joined the Partnership for Transparency in 2013 to lead the organization’s communications and programs. She is also the founder of PTF’s African affiliate organization, PTF-Africa. Prior to joining PTF, Sarah worked at Gender Action, developing and executing communication campaigns focused on promoting gender justice and women’s rights in International Financial Institution (IFI) investments. Sarah has also managed communications for the office of the former United States Ambassador to the United Nations Human Rights Council. Sarah holds a BA in Political Science from American University and an MA in Democratic Governance from the University of Cape Town in South Africa, where her studies focused on political parties and citizen participation in Sub-Saharan Africa.
