Ms. Hees has worked with Transparency International (TI) as Executive Director for Africa and the Middle East at the TI Secretariat and as a volunteer Senior Advisor. Prior to working with TI, Ms. Hees had a long career with the World Bank in the human development sector in East Asia and North Africa. She also worked in Haiti for UNDP and in Latin America with the Population Reference Bureau. Ms. Hees holds an M.A. in Public Affairs from the John F. Kennedy School of Government of Harvard University, an M.A. from the School of Advanced International Studies of Johns Hopkins University, and a B.A from McGill University.
